Arts Council of Oklahoma City

“Arts After School” Program brings various forms of art to all four BGCOKC sites.

 

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma provides mentors that are matched with Club members.


 

Calm Waters

Provides support group counseling to Club members at two locations in the summer.


 

Cleats for Kids

Provides new and used sports shoes and equipment to Club members

 

 

The Boy Scouts of America (Last Frontier Council)

Works with Club members to build character, train them in the responsibilities of citizenship and develop personal fitness.

 

Junior League of Oklahoma City

Provides various programming to members which includes a running club - Kids on Trach; Kids in the Kitchen teaches nutrition to younger club members and Top Chef which teaches nutrition to teen Club members, all at the Memorial Park location.

 

Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma

Provides scholarships for a number of Club members to attend Lyric's Thelma Gaylord Academy classes each semester.

 

Oklahoma City Ballet

Provides Project Plie' Ballet Classes at Memorial Park Club and also provides scholarships at Oklahoma City Ballet for Club members who show a particular interest/ability in ballet.

 

Metropolitan Library System

Provides various programming to members which includes a running club - Kids on Trach; Kids in the Kitchen teaches nutrition to younger club members and Top Chef which teaches nutrition to teen Club members, all at the Memorial Park location.

 

Oklahoma City Public Schools

Provides various programming to members which includes a running club - Kids on Trach; Kids in the Kitchen teaches nutrition to younger club members and Top Chef which teaches nutrition to teen Club members, all at the Memorial Park location.

 

Oklahoma City Thunder

Host Thunder basketball camps at the Club, provided a teen game room and seperate teen lounge as well as hosts special events at the Club throughout the year

 

Positive Tomorrows 

Positive Tomorrows is a school for homeless children that brings their students to the Memorial Park Club for PE and computer time.

 

ReMerge 

Holds their Getting Ahead Classes at the Memorial Park Club during the day.

 

The Udall Foundation Parks in Focus

Through the leadership of the Udall Foundation, Club youth participate in hands-on nature activities and learn to appreciate nature through photography.

 

United Way of Central Oklahoma

Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County is a United Way partner agency. The United Way provides community based funding and awareness campaigns and coordinates referrals among more than 61 community service resources.
