Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County brighten the holidays for 5,000 members

OKLAHOMA CITY — Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County (BGCOKC) is calling on the public to help make this the most wonderful time of the year for its more than 5,000 members.Presented by Express Employment International, BGCOKC’s annual Jolly Holiday Giveaway Drive runs through Wednesday, December. 4, allowing time for gifts to arrive for Club holiday parties, where they’ll be distributed to BGCOKC members. “The holidays are a time of fun and celebration, but they can also bring financial stress and challenges,” said Teena Belcik, BGCOKC President & CEO. “Our goal is for all our Club members and their families to feel loved and celebrated. The Oklahoma City community always steps up in a big way at the holidays, and we need their help more than ever this year.” 

According to the website, BGCOKC’s mission is “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.”BGCOKC has a full list of needs available at bcgokc.org/holidays. Items are shipped directly to the organization via its Amazon wish list. Toy donations from the Jolly Holiday Giveaway wish list can also be dropped off in person at the BGCOKC office at 2915 N Classen Blvd, Suite 50, in Oklahoma City.
