Former club member, Danny Rogers, Private First Class, stopped by BGCOKC with a few fellow servicemembers. Rogers grew up in the club along with his siblings, some of which are still currently club members!

Rogers and his colleagues spoke about the Military and how it gave them options for their futures. He explained that the Military offered him a career and many opportunities out of High School. Rogers talked about how the Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County had been a home away from home, therefore he had to come back and visit while on leave from Fort Hood. Students were also given lanyards and wrist bands before the presentation, where they got to hear the unique stories of these servicemembers.
